Here are some tips on how to make your session more personalized and unique. 💌
Bring your dogs:
I always tell my clients to bring their dogs because it can make your session so special. Plus having photos of you and your pet to look back on forever is #priceless. Our fur babies sadly do not live forever, so capturing moments with them is so so important. If you do choose to bring your dog, please let me know and we will find the perfect dog-friendly location for us.
Make your outfits a priority:
Before your session try to plan out your outfits to make sure you are ready and comfortable! I highly recommend giving yourself time to do this so there is no pressure when it comes to our session date. Make sure your outfits represent your authentic self so you are feeling extra confident.
Feel free to bring 2-3 outfits to our session. I always suggest something fancy, something cozy, and something that is completely you. If I was going to a shoot I would bring a fun dress, a flannel to stylize, and a neutral-colored shirt. Hats and jewelry can go a long way as well. Try bringing a fun hat or boots too.
If you are coming with a group or a pair I suggest coordinating your outfits together over trying to match.
Bring something to drink:
This could be anything from beer to coffee! This can add a little touch of fun & personality to your photoshoot.
What’s a better way to celebrate than with a champagne pop? Celebrating an engagement or graduation, feel free to bring some bubbly and let's party.
Bring props:
Props can be a great addition to your session. Things like blankets, announcement signs, flowers, etc. can be fun items to bring along. Blankets can be a great thing to bring for you to sit on and cozy up with your partner or family. The pop of color can make your session more vibrant too. Want to announce something special like an engagement or baby on the way? A sign is a great item to bring. Flowers too can add a touch of color. Flowers can even help resemble your wedding day if you are wanting to do a bridal or couples shoot.
Bring your horse:
Want to get a little western? Feel free to bring your big friend. If you do want to bring along your horse, please let me know asap so we can find the perfect location for us.
